Working Structures

AEFMP has a permanent working arrangement structure. This kind of structure facilitates a perfect coordination of the activities carried out in both the AEFMP and broader regional initiatives.

AEFMP structure is pyramidal, straightforward and pragmatic in order to manage the organization and the Work Program. That structure supports an efficient and direct communication, thus facilitating the task performance and developing effective relations between the participating members.

At the top of the pyramid is located the Steering committee (SC), its presidency rotates once a year among countries. It is responsible for defining and guiding the AEFMP working guidelines.

At the second level of the pyramidal structure, Working Group (WG) places, its actions are to coordinate the Steering Committee decisions.

Finally, at the base of the pyramid there are two Working Sub-Groups, Operational and Technical: these Sub-Groups execute the AEFMP actions.
